Our aim is to ensure the continued health of your teeth and gums, and this means giving you regular dental advice and helping you to understand how to care for your teeth. We encourage our patients to attend regularly in order to maintain good oral health.

Meet the team


Arabella Yelland
Practice Principal, GDC No. 76195

Arabella graduated from the University of Dundee, and worked in Bearsden and Dennistoun.

An active member of the British Dental Association, Arabella was president of the West of Scotland branch in 2016. She is former chair of Ayrshire and Arran Local Dental Committee.

Committed to dental education in Scotland, Arabella continues to teach restorative dentistry at Glasgow Dental Hospital, and has herself recently gained further qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She is a trainer for new graduates.

Iain Ogilvie
Dentist, GDC No. 277160

Iain is a keen golfer and footballer, as well as an accomplished guitarist.

He was a finalist in case presentation in his postgraduate year, and won the prestigious RCSEd clinical skills competition, the Dean Webster prize, and Glasgow Odontological society prize at Glasgow University.

Iain carried out his elective in implant dentistry at the renowned Vermilion clinic in Edinburgh, and following further training now places implants.

Lisa Pyper
Hygienist/Therapist, GDC No. 244065

Lisa is dually qualified as a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist from the University of Dundee. She can carry out some fillings as well as treating gum problems and providing dental education.

Away from the surgery, Lisa enjoys performing in musical theatre and dancing, as well as being a mum to her two young daughters.

Rebecca Baird
Dentist, GDC No. 283188

Originally from Northern Ireland, Rebecca is a keen squash coach and badminton player. She also volunteers as a Brownie leader in her spare time.

She has made educational dental videos in Rwanda, and is especially interested in making dentures.

Sophie Cavanagh
Dentist, GDC No. 301384

Sophie is from Gourock and attended the University of Dundee. During the pandemic she worked as a healthcare support worker, a vaccinator, and for the track and trace scheme. She is particularly interested in treating children and nervous patients.

Sophie has carried out voluntary work in Kenya, and been involved with a breast cancer charity for younger women, as well as helping at a soup kitchen for homeless people. In her spare time she loves pilates, yoga, and playing the piano.
